Office Visit

Welcome to our clinic. It takes approximately two weeks to schedule an initial visit so please plan accordingly.

First Visit

Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment to complete our health history form or, if you prefer, download it here and bring it with you.

The first visit is typically 1 1/2 hours; return visits are 1 hour.  Every visit includes a review of current symptoms, inspection of tongue and pulse, and acupuncture treatment.  Once the needles are in place, the patient will rest for approximately 30 minutes.

Things to Remember

• Do not brush your tongue for at least 24 hours before your visit.  The tongue plays a vital role in corroborating your Chinese medicine diagnosis.  In the hours before your visit, do not have anything that will stain your tongue, such as hard candies, grape juice or cola.
• It’s also wise to avoid caffeinated products in the hours preceding your treatment.
• The treatment will be more comfortable for you if you are neither too hungry nor too full at the time of your visit.
